An Exclusive Winter Wedding in Paris

From the Ritz Paris to the Hôtel de la Païva

This winter wedding in Paris was a true celebration of love, family, and heritage. Blending a Ritz Paris wedding, a ceremony at Église Saint-Roch, and an unforgettable wedding at the Hôtel de la Païva, it perfectly illustrates why Paris remains one of the most sought-after destinations for refined, emotional, and truly exclusive celebrations.

I was fortunate to work alongside my mentor, Marion Co, on this wedding. It was a truly meaningful experience, and I am sincerely grateful for her trust and guidance.

Bridal preparations

at the Ritz Paris

The day began at the Ritz Paris, an emblem of French luxury and refinement. Surrounded by her bridesmaids and her mother, Constance got ready in one of the hotel’s elegant suites. The atmosphere was intimate and deeply emotional. When she finally slipped into her wedding dress, her mother was overcome with emotion, a powerful moment filled with quiet tears and tenderness.

Constance wore a spectacular gown featuring intricate lace, an exceptionally long train, and an oversized veil that flowed gracefully through the suite. As a Paris wedding photographer, capturing these intimate winter morning moments in such an iconic setting is always incredibly meaningful.

A Parisian Ceremony at Église Saint-Roch

Once ready, Constance left the Ritz on her father’s arm, stepping into the crisp February air of Paris. The ceremony took place in the chapel of Église Saint-Roch, a historic Parisian church known for its artistic and spiritual heritage.

Elegant and heartfelt, the ceremony perfectly reflected the couple’s values and love story. The soft winter light filtering into the chapel added a quiet solemnity to the moment, making it particularly moving to photograph.

Iconic Newlyweds at the exclusive Hotel de La Païva

A Reception at the Hôtel de la Païva, One of Paris’ Most Exclusive Venues

The celebration continued at the Hôtel de la Païva, one of the most exclusive wedding venues in Paris. Built in the 19th century for the Marquise de Païva, this private mansion on the Champs-Élysées is renowned for its opulent décor, onyx staircase, and richly adorned salons.

Today, it serves as the residence of the Traveller’s Club, a prestigious gentlemen’s club founded in Paris in 1903, making access to this venue extremely rare.

This sense of privacy and history gives any wedding at the Hôtel de la Païva an unmatched aura.

During the cocktail hour, a live violinist filled the rooms with a romantic melody, enhancing the timeless elegance of the setting.

Couple Portraits in a Cinematic Setting

One of the highlights of the day was the couple photo session inside the winter garden of the Hôtel de la Païva. Bathed in soft winter light, this space offered a unique atmosphere for refined and editorial portraits. The location recently gained even more recognition after being featured in the French film Le Comte de Monte-Cristo, adding a subtle cinematic dimension to Constance and Guillaume’s wedding imagery.

As a Paris wedding photographer, working in such historically rich and visually striking locations is an exceptional privilege. I deeply love creating in settings filled with meaning, history, and magic, places that elevate emotions and give weddings a truly iconic dimension. This unique atmosphere allows me to craft images that are not only timeless, but profoundly special and one of a kind, reflecting the singularity of each love story.

A Candlelit Dinner

and a Sweet Parisian Finale

Dinner was served by candlelight in a stunning red-toned dining room, creating a warm and magical ambiance that contrasted beautifully with the winter night outside. The evening reached its peak with a delightful surprise: a towering pyramid of madeleines by the Ritz, which officially opened the dance floor and set the tone for a joyful celebration.

This winter wedding in Paris was a true celebration of love, family, and heritage.
