Wedding at La Dîme de Giverny
A French-American celebration
near Monet’s Garden
Their story began like a beautifully written romance – an American student and a French crossing paths in Paris during the summer of 2015. Though they built their life together in Brooklyn, their hearts remained tethered to France. This deep connection led to their wedding at La Dîme de Giverny, a celebration that would bring together two cultures, two families, and two hearts.
Just steps away from Claude Monet’s famous house and gardens, La Dîme offered everything the couple envisioned for their special day. The venue captivated them with its enchanting courtyard illuminated by twinkling lights, ivy-covered walls, a serene fountain, and a meadow full of wildflowers. This magical setting in Giverny, one of Lucie’s favorite places in France, provided the perfect backdrop for their international celebration and gave their American guests an authentic French experience.
WHAT THE NEWLYWEDS HAVE TO SAY
“The evening of admiring the photos was met with laughs, tears, and uncontained happiness with how the pictures turned out. Everyone raved about how dedicated and engaged you were throughout the entire wedding day, to which we fervently agreed and felt even more certain that we had made the right choice. “
